This series is a precursor to my body of work titled Medium is the Message. Within this series I experimented with combining portraits with objects of sentimental value to each individual. The inspiration for this project stems from my emotional attachment to physical objects. I recognized that same behavior in others and use their physical items in combination with my photography to visually tell a story about each person.
